Specific Techniques:
1. Using Rub-ons in pictogram style journaling. Where pictures replace words.

Instructions:

1. Use a craft knife to cut free hand a chunky white frame. Adhere to background fabric paper.
2. Cut around couple from photograph and use mini magic mount to raise photo and place photo along bottom edge of background paper.
3. Add two square cardstock stickers from 'Cody trinkets' raise with mini magic mount and adhere to the top left hand side.
4. Select title letters 'Hi' from Alphabet Soup to adhere onto first sticker.
5. Adhere little bird embellishment from KI Pet Shop Chipboard shapes.
6. Print journaling out on 'Sunshine' Bazzill leaving spaces between words where rub one pictures will substitute words.
7. Add 'Cody Doodles' rub-ons to spaces left in journaling. Cut journaling into strips and adhere onto layout.
8. Add number 5 from Alphabet Soup 'Chowder' second square sticker at the top of the page.
9. Cut an arrow shape from Cover Board and cover with 'Cody Waterboy' fabric paper. Adhere to bottom right hand side of photo.
10. Add 'Cody Rounds' buttons and Rub-Ons to the top, right and bottom left hand side of the white frame and about the arrow. Add ribbon to centre holes of some of the buttons.

1. Incorporating photo into a title.

Instructions:
1. Trace around a dinner place on reverse side of 'Go, Fight, Win' paper and then hand cut circle.
2. Adhere circle onto centre of 'Playbook'.
3. Use a craft knife to hand cut thin, irregular circles from 'Marmalade' Bazzill and 'Wild Thing Zebra' paper. Adhere thing circles around the outside of the large circle.
4. Adhere reverse side of 'Cosy Benchwarmer' to Cover board and use Ellison machine to cut lowercase word 'keeping' as part of the title.
5. Adhere 'Cody Waterboy' to Cover board and use Ellison machine to cut uppercase word 'SC-RE' as part of the title.
6. Adhere photo to Cover board and use Ellison circle shape to cut photo into a circle to use in place of the letter 'o' in word 'score'.
7. Adhere title to the circle of the large circle, raising the word 'SC-RE' using mini mount.
8. Underline the title words with thin, sticker strips from 'Cody Trinkets'.
9. Cover a Cover board arrow shape with 'Cody Benchwarmer' paper and adhere to left hand side of 'score' word.
10. Add a cluster of embellishments to the top left hand side and bottom, right hand side of title using buttons 'Cody Rounds', 'Cody Goodies' and 'Cody Trinkets'. Raise some items with mini mount and ribbon to the centres of some button shapes.
11. Print out journaling onto 'Sunset' Bazzill and trim into strips. Adhere a square shape sticker from 'Cody Trinkets' under the title and add journaling over the top of the sticker.

1. Free hand cutting of fabric paper into a defined shape

Instructions:

1. Draw a thin boarder with a Black Zig Writer about the background 'White' Bazzill paper.
2. Trim Journal teal Lace to fit inside the drawn border. Adhere the lace in the place where the photo will cover the tape.
3. Adhere photo to the bottom, right hand side of the layout.
4. Add two Rubber Charms and 'score' Rub-On to the bottom right hand side of the photo.
5. Hand cut a cloud shape from 'Cody Waterboy' fabric paper and adhere to top right hand side of layout. Draw a thin black line following the shape of the cloud just within it edge.
6. Select letters or title 'sky fun' from Alphabet Soup 'Chowder' and adhere to middle of cloud.
7. Add a scattering of Rhinestone round crystals inside the cloud.
8. Adhere chipboard cloud shape take from 'Cody frame set 1' to the top of the photo.
9. Add the '#1' rubber charm from 'Cody Goodies' inside the chipboard cloud.
10. Print journaling onto white Bazzill, cut into strips and adhere to lace paper, one under the hand cut cloud and the other two at the bottom of the layout.
11. Adhere a strip of ribbon under the first line of journaling, entering from the left hand side and ending just as it crosses onto the photo.
